Scientex Berhad, an investment holding company, is engaged in the manufacture of packaging products. It is also involved in the property development business. It offers various packaging products for outer packaging applications, such as stretch film, stretch hood, polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) strapping band, and high density poly ethylene tying tape; middle packaging applications, including woven bags, bulk bags, and corrugated carton boxes; and inner packaging applications, such as adhesives, lamination films, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) rigid films. The company also manufactures and markets urethane prepolymer adhesives for the lamination of plastic film, paper, and aluminum foil; and automotive interior products, shrink hoods, PVC leather cloth, thermoplastic olefins (TPO)/PP, PVC/PP foam skin materials, tufted carpet mats for automotive interior, corrugated carton boxes, and fibre containers. In addition, it is engaged in the development of townships, and residential and commercial properties; the provision of management services; and marketing and sale of packaging related materials. Scientex Berhad, formerly known as Scientex Incorporated Berhad, was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
