The company also manufactures and markets urethane prepolymer adhesives for the lamination of plastic film, paper, and aluminum foil; and automotive interior products, shrink hoods, PVC leather cloth, thermoplastic olefins (TPO)/PP, PVC/PP foam skin materials, tufted carpet mats for automotive interior, corrugated carton boxes, and fibre containers. In addition, it is engaged in the development of townships, and residential and commercial properties; the provision of management services; and marketing and sale of packaging related materials. Scientex Berhad, formerly known as Scientex Incorporated Berhad, was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
